What's New (and noteworthy)
Things that are exciting me lately (including my new teaching gig!!).

I have been hinting at this for weeks (if you are part of my close friends and family I am eternally grateful to you for listening to me tell you over and over how excited I am about it) and I am thrilled that I can finally share more about it.
Starting in August you will be able to find me regularly (as a teacher and student) at FORZA, an ultra-chic pilates and wellness club in Damansara Heights. I’ll be teaching in-person yoga classes (restorative, pre/postnatal, and flow).
I’ll share a full tour of the space and it’s class offerings soon but for now, here’s a little sneak peek and a heads-up about my FREE COMMUNITY CLASSES(!!) which will be open for registration this Saturday 19/7 (set you alarms and stay tuned to FORZA’s instagram for all the details on how to sign up).
And because I know the curious minds will wonder…no, this incredible space is not mine. Sasha is the visionary and founder behind Forza and let me tell you—she is a force! I’m very happy to be closing the chapter on my days as a studio owner and to be (re)entering my freelance teacher era.

Good Classes
A couple other movement classes I’ve been excited about lately:
Am now a permanent member of Rin’s Detox Flow on Saturdays. It is the perfect way to start the weekend if I’m honest: lots of spinal mobility, flowing movements, and a nice, LONG Savasana (Rin never skimps on this!!).
Got my Lagree fix at Studio8 in Ampang on Monday and am still sore (and will likely be into next week).
Good Food

I have no words to describe the absolute perfection that was Potager. John and I visited for our anniversary dinner and wow, what an experience. Not only is the space a feast for the eyes, but every course was incredible.
They also started our dinner by visiting our table with a champagne trolly where we could choose our preferred bubbly, and then they returned at the end of the dinner with another trolly piled with different kinds of cheeses—how fun!!
Chef Masashi Horiuchi and I also had a nice little chat at the end of dinner, bonding over our mutual love of yoga (he’s a longtime practitioner!).

Murray’s Vanilla protein smoothie after workouts.
La Spiga D’Oro for the most unreal sandwiches (I know I am probably the last human on earth to try this sandwich shop but suffice it to say we’ve been back twice since—so good).
It’s been so hot and I’ve been craving a light, chill-able red wine to pair with pasta salads and this hit the spot last week.
Good “Things”
I picked up these soaps when I was in Canada and they literally smell like summer.
When I’m not wearing activewear, I’m schlepping around town in loose cotton dresses that look like nightgowns. I personally prefer to buy these secondhand because I like a cotton that’s softened from being washed a million times, but this and this are nice “new” options.
Just bought this bag and I am obsessed with the shape and function (the strap can be worn short/bucket bag or long/crossbody).
My skin has been drinking this serum up.
I love that capris are back “in” (mostly because I never stopped wearing them). I’m upgrading the 15 year old pair of Lululemon capris, that I’m wearing in the first photo, to these.
I just got these vintage Armani sunnies (pictured) and they’re literally so good. These I think would also be a vibe.
Vintage bamboo frames (okay but how sweet are they?!) that I picked up to house a couple pieces of art and family photos.
Good TV
Was hooked on Department Q from episode 1 and am really hoping it gets renewed for another season. It is a detective show that I’d describe as a cross between Bosch and Slow Horses if you enjoyed either of those shows. The British humour, the characters, and the heart-pounding suspense is 10/10.
We also recently started Mo and are loving it. The filmography reminds me a lot of Kim’s Convenience as does the humour (it fully has me laughing out loud one minute and tearing up the next).
Kitchen Goodies

Finally invested in a chef’s apron and the amount of shirts that have been saved alone makes it worth it (plus I feel very profesh wearing it). This is the one that I have (but it’s sold out). But this also looks cute, as does this or having one custom made from here could be fun too (gifting idea?).
Hot nights call for cold noodles (I added a little extra veg and also baked some tofu battered in tempura flakes to go with).
These are replacing peanut butter cookies for me forever.
An orange creamsicle electrolyte bevvy that I absolutely devoured.
I hated the ice-cube tray that came with our refrigerator so I replaced it with three of these trays that produce the nicest, chonkiest ice squares. Bonus points for them being BPA free and not smelling like toxic chemicals when I unwrapped the packaging.
